There is nothing like a lotion or body product that instantly makes you think of summer. Mistral - Nectar De Fruits Green Apple Passion Fruit is just that. A light textured white lotion that sinks in quickly leaving your skin smelling like a fresh fruit salad.
What I love about this lotion is the fact that one pump moisturized my entire leg. Because of it's light texture, it spreads easily leaving you with needing less that you usually would. There is also no greasy residue left after this soaks into your skin. Within a minute or two after application, the lotion had completely soaked in and I was left with soft, hydrated skin that smelled sweet.
This line of products known as "Nectar De Fruits" includes soaps, hand washes and lotions with the following scents: Green Apple Passion Fruit, Pomegranate and Japanese Apricot. While Mistral's online website sells its Extra Rich Body Lotion (10.8 ounces) for $24, there is an additional lotion line: Shea Butter and Olive Oil Body Lotion, which has 17 ounces for $25. Unless you are hooked on one of the Nectar De Fruits scents, you'll find better value with the Shea Butter and Olive Oil Body Lotion collection.
Mistral started in 1994 when the founder, Matthew Tilker came home from a fellowship in Provence, France. While in France, Tilker met a soap crafter who inspired Tilker with his love and devotion to a 300 year old soap making recipe and tradition.
