Guide Review - ME! Bath: Bath Ice Cream
ME! Bath is an adorable skin care line specializing in bath treatments - specifically "Bath Ice Cream", which are bath bombs.
If you've never used a bath bomb, let me explain how they work. After filling up your tub, you drop in the bomb. (ME! Bath's Bath Ice Creams are especially large bath bombs, which we love.) Your bath bomb will instantly start fizzing away like an alka-seltzer would in water.
The bomb quickly melts away leaving your tub colored, full of little shimmer (in my case) and hydrating and moisturizing bath oils.
I sampled Gotta Have It Pomegranate. It came packed in a cute box and protected by a plastic case, surrounded by plastic wrap. Bath bombs are fragile, and with all of this protection, not a single part of my bath bomb was shaved or nicked off.
When I tore off the plastic wrap, the scent was very strong, too strong for my liking, but I will say that it immensely diffused when it hit the water.
The bath bomb was completely melted in less than 2 minutes, and the product was enough to provide ample treatment for my large corner spa-tub. The water was tinted pink, had beautiful mica-shimmer floating on top and provided instant oils for my skin.
When I was done soaking, my skin felt like I had just rubbed in rich body oils onto it - I loved it.
The oils in the bath bomb did leave a film on my tub, but this is just typical of having oils in your tub in any fashion, and not something negative about Bath Ice Creams.
I can honestly say that I loved using ME! Bath Bath Ice Creams, but would I spend $8.50 every time I took a bath? Not likely. That said, these are terrific for gifts and actually come in smaller mini sizes and an excellent mini gift pack that would make any bath-lover's best gift list.
