Guide Review - Body Conscience: 3-Minute Shower in a Bar Body Polish
I'll admit - I've been won over by Body Conscience: 3-Minute Shower in a Bar Body Polish. And that doesn't happen often.
What I first noticed about this product is the super-cute packaging. Once I opened it, I saw a soap dish with a tissue wrapped soap on it, with 2 more bars underneath. I'll be honest in the fact that I didn't read the directions. It's soap, right? Wrong!
I'll also be honest when I say that at first I wasn't impressed. Because I wet the bar and tried lathering it up at my kitchen sink. When not a single bubble would form, I got suspicious and finally read the box and realized my "soap", wasn't soap at all, but an exfoliator.
When I took it into my shower and tried it for the first time, I didn't want to put it down. It really exfoliates like no other scrub I've tried.
Because it's a solid scrub, (solid, as in hard, not crumbly) you can easily control the pressure to that of your likeness. And you can easily scrub all parts of your body without the scrub dripping through your fingers or falling off washing away. I was able to exfoliate my entire body as fast as I use a bar of soap.
And when I rinsed off and turned off the shower, I could not believe how hydrated my skin was. I never advise not using a moisturizer, no matter the scrub's ingredients, but for the first time I completely felt that my skin was moisturized enough.
Note: The tub was slippery, as were my feet.
Body Conscience 3-Minute Shower in a Bar Body Polish is a total splurge at $65, but there are 3 bars in the package and a soap dish included. The bars do dissolve fairly quickly, but will last longer if you turn off the shower when you're using it, so the water doesn't beat down on it. Also, using the soap dish, allowing water to drain instead of pool, will extend the life of the bar.
The say you can use it daily, but for me, this is a little piece of heaven that I'd like to enjoy longer. I'm sticking with using it 3 times a week.
This would totally be a 5-star review, but I can definitely see some readers unable to afford the price. Knock down the price a bit, and it's a win-win by everyone.
