I was in need of a new bottle of shaving cream or shaving gel, so I decided to scope out the selection at my local Target. I try to go with a shaving gel if possible, as gels don't tend to dehydrate your skin like creams can do. I picked Skintimate Moisturizing Shave Gel in Raspberry Rain scent.
The fragrance of this gel is very reminiscent of a scent I might have like in my teenage years - sugary berry sweet. The pink gel turns white cream and easily spreads on your skin. A nickle size dollop is all you need for your entire leg.
What I loved is the close shave I got with the gel; absolutely no nicks. It also didn't leave my skin feeling dehydrated, like many shaving gels do. My skin felt slightly moisturized, but I still recommend applying lotion after shaving no matter what, as shaving gives your skin a slight exfoliation.
Coming in under $4.00, I'll be sure to purchase again.
