Botox is one of those beauty secrets that some love, some hate and others don't even think about because they think they're not in the age-range for it yet. Some get irritated that we as a people seem to think injecting ourselves with poison in the name of beauty is repulsive while others gather their closest friends over to enter the world of Botox together.
Last year we learned about soon-to-be topical Botox. I won't lie; as someone in their mid-30's, the crows feet are creeping in and the line in my forehead from squinting when driving is getting more and more noticeable. The idea of a little dab of cream getting rubbed into my lines helping them go away sounds more and more desirable. (A shot? Not so much. I'm being honest - it's the needle, not the poison that turns me away. Call me what you will.)
Today, we shared the latest from Dr. Miranda, Plastic Surgeon from Pacific Plastic Surgery Group. Is Botox only for those in their middle-ages? According to Dr. Miranda, definitely not. Read on to see why he recommends you consider Botox as early as your 20's. And I'd love to hear your thoughts on Botox in the comments - the good and the bad! Are you anti, for or ambivalent?
