I recently was given a toner as a gift by a relative. I'd never used one before, but I admit, I do like the way my skin feels after using one. Plus, if you're in a rush, it's great as an instant refresher!

never use toner.I use a cream soap to wash my face.i am 78 years old and my daughter said i should tell people how i have such great skin...people think i am a lot younger then i am...I always use moisturizer,morning and night ...Wash,Wash,Wash and rinse good...

Necessary!

I use a spray toner & it helps prepare my skin for anything I apply afterward. It helps product penetrate into the skin, such as my moisturizer. It also is a good foundation step before applying makeup, & it helps set it if you spray it on afterward! While I stay away from astringent & cotton balls, I believe a good quality spray toner is absolutely necessary! (I use Dermalogica Multiactive Toner) It also helps get my redness out & I spray it during the day if I need a refreshing boost!!!

Are toners harmful?

I use palmer skin success toners, as I need my facial skin to have an even, smooth complexion. is this right? please advice.

i am using olays refreshing toner its not tooo great but it wakes u up but it doesnt unclog my pores :(

Sarah, Toner does NOT make your pores look smaller. That is a false rumor that's been going around for a long time and it has to stop. What toner does and why its important is A) removes access dirt and oil that was left behind after your cleanser. B) Toner should be included in your 6 basic maintains just like your spf cream. Its a must.

I always use a toner, and have as long as I can remember. It always makes my skin feel better and I feel it makes my pores look smaller.
