Mixed Feelings
- Thought this was a safe alternative to the tanning bed, so I gave it a whirl today. After a very brief personal instruction, I applied barrier cream to hands and feet as directed (what they forgot to tell me was to totally saturate these areas - lesson I learned the hardway). Stepped into the cold booth, pushed the green button and BAM I'm being pressured washed with orange spray that reaks and NOT breathing is nearly impossible. Turn around and BAM I'm being blasted again with the freezing spray. Couldn't open my eyes with tanning solution dripping off my eyelids, so I slowly try to "feel" my way out of the booth...reached for a towel and OH MY GOD! LOOK AT ME! I'm dripping with this sticky, stinky solution from head to toe. Rubbed the solution in best I can, but still streaky and smelly. Even hours after the spray tan, I'm oozing the solution from all areas of my body and I smell (not supposed to shower for 24 hours). The plus side, I do look darker, but in a streaky kind of way.

Its OK
- I did it for the first time yesterday. I had watched the video on Mystic Tan website and read the reviews. I went at 6:30PM and didn't shower until the morning. When I woke up I could see the tan, a nice color, but the sides of my hands, below my pinky, was dark dark and one dark splotch on my arm near my elbow. Also, I have some wrinkles above my knees and this afternoon you can see the white in the wrinkles like its wearing off. I might do it again, if I can master the barrier cream. We'll see....

Unlimited Mystics only cost me $59/month
- Just wanted to add that I pay $59 a month for unlimited Mystics (could go everyday if I wanted), so be scared off by hearing about the $25 per tan statements.

Great alternative to real tanning!
- It's not perfect and it doesn't look 100% authentic, but it's pretty close. However, it's worlds better than actual tanning. Consistently hitting the tanning beds will turn your face into a catcher's mitt by the time you hit your mid-thirties, trust me. If you decided that you would rather just tan than use a spray-tan, I would strongly urge you to reconsider. Trust me when I say a decade of tanning really takes it toll and you will almost certainly regret it.

Love it! Tricks to barrier cream
- I got an unlimited package to do the new mymyst mystic tan - i go every 5 days or so. i've been able to try some different things with the barrier cream and what works for my feet and hands is to apply way more barrier cream than you think you need. between the fingers and toes and very thick on top. i wash my hands completely about 2 hours after and its flawless. I think the main thing is to really use more cream on your hands than you think you should - then it'll come out great. i LOVE the mymyst.

i dont think ill do it again.
- well it was all good til i looked at my chest neck, feet, & palms. when i looked in those areas they were like orange brown, it looked like i hadnt showered in weeks in those areas, everything else was okay. i dont think its a good idea when you have to go to scgool, im not ready to hear peoples comments. i would prefer regular tanning beds.

DOES NOT MAKE ME ORANGE!
- I LOVE IT! Its all natural (DHA is naturally derived) its even and covers up imperfections I have. I have dont it well over 100 times. People with hands/feet turning orange or dark, I recommend washing them right after or using wet wipes for better accuracy around the nails, knuckles and in between fingers and over most of the feet, problem solved!

AMAZING! but...
- I just did it yesterday. I LOVE the color, but one word of advice... you really need to master the barrier cream. I gooped it on like all of my friends told me too. So my hands are my natural color, and my wrists are golden brown. Also, DO NOT rub it in with your palms when you get out... made that mistake too. haha!

I loved it except for one thing...
- I absolutely LOVE Mystic Tan! I am a swimsuit model and I have to tan to look the best I possibly can in photos. I tanned for 4 years in tanning beds. Knowing how horribe they are for you, I FINALLY gave it up and tried a spray tan, Mystic Tan. I used the barrier cream as directed and put the hair net on. I was pretty comfortable except the not breathing part. A few times I couldn't hold my breath anymore and took in a few breaths of the tanning solution, that was very unpleasant. I wasn't really tan after 8 hours so I slept with it. I woke up the next morning with a gorgeous bronze tan. No streaks and no orange! I love it! I will definitely continue to do it. It is a little pricey but my health is worth it! I will just have to learn to be more in tune with when to hold my breath. Maybe next time I'll open the door and take in a breath in beween the 4 sprays. =)

Scary !!!
- So pretty much you pay like 25 bucks, go into this nasty blue shower, press a green button then it starts beeping like a fire alarm. Then sprays you with this freezing cold awful smelling orange stuff. Then it turns off for a second and you turn around and it yet startles you AGAIN with the freezing cold stuff and then turns off again. Then on your way out of the ice cold polluted shower the door will probably get stuck and be hard to open while your trying everything to get the heck outta there. Yeah then you get out and you're happy you did it and then you go home, sleep, wake up in the morning and shower. Then the following day you go to your ballet class, sweat. And manage to drip orange. Just my experience haha. I'm 13 by the way so it's probably not as scary for adults as it is a kid. Yet I keep going back to do it...(:

NEVER AGAIN!
- Im orange, I smell like poison, and I had an asthma attack because the chemicals where so overwhelming in the booth. I will never ever ever to this again, I'm sticking to and airbrush tan. It gives a nice brown tan, not and orange one. You can breath when getting it done and it last a lot longer.
