- The best product is Working Hands. You can buy it online or at Hardware stores. Also they have one for your feet. It is fabulous, non-greasy and your hands and feet will never be the same again.

- i read this elsewhere on the net, and it works great. While wet in the shower slather on an inexpensive hair conditioner over your skin. Just rinse off without rubbing. I do this and I also exfoliate with a honey and brown sugar mixture. Once a week I go to bed with a lot of olive oil on my hair and scalp (under a shower cap.

Mayo
- I know this sounds odd, but mayonaisse works wonders. I had tried all sorts of expensive concoctions, but the results didn't last. An old Native American medicine man told me to use mayonaisse and it worked like a charm and I haven't had any skin problems since.

Lock it in!!!
- When you shower and have washed yourself cover yourself in BABY OIL then straight away you must then use your favourite moisturiser (mine was Vaseline: Repair and Protect) and cover your body in it or the worst offending parts. Do this for a week or so showering every day and it should clear up for good. It did for me and I never thought I would be free of it now I just have normal problems to worry about everyday :)

Dry lips and hands
- For dry lips exfoliate them with a light scrub (like sugar or Mary Kay lip scrub works the best) for about 1 minute. Then wipe it off with a wash cloth. Put on moisturiser like Mary Kay satin lips or aquafina lip care. Do not use chapstick. It contains alcohol and hurts lips more than it helps. For dry skin on hands take a nail file and GENTLY rub over all dry skin areas. Put on a very heavy hand cream like Mary Kay satin hands or vasalene hand care. Put on cotton gloves at night and leave them on till u get up. You will see dramatic results. Then throuh out the day put on hand cream then repeat daily and nightly till you get soft uncracked hands. From then on keep up with the hand cream through out the days and you will be good to go.

Want Softer, Smoother Lips?...
- if you want soft lips, dry this. 1. you need tooth brush, sugar, and faucet with warm water. 2. wet lips with warm(or cold) water. 3. put sugar on toothbrush, and put faucet on warm water.(just let warm water DRIP on the tooth brush, about 3-5 drops) 4. lightly brush your lips with the toothbrush (that has sugar on it) 5. brush for about 1-3 mins. 6. rinse lips under cold water, or wet a soft cloth(cold water) and dab lips 7. when lips are dry, apply a SPF chapstick to help lips continue to be chap FREE. I do this and it makes my lips amazingly smooth, u should try it sometime....:)

More tips!
- Those are great tips - especially having hand cream everywhere. It makes a huge difference! I wanted to add a couple of other tips. First - exfoliation is key, especially during the winter. A good sugar scrub (salt can irritate skin or sting small nicks/scrapes) removes dead, dry skin and encourages new, healthy cell growth. Plus - a good one will leave your skin moisturized after the shower. Exfoliating lips and face (with a microderm scrub) will help keep those areas fresh and healthy as well. Second - keep your face moisturized. In the winter months layering a serum under a moisturizer helps to maintain fresh, hydrated skin and protects it from the environment. Be sure to avoid mineral oil and petrolatum as it can clog pores and prevent your skin's production of sebum. -Kristin Miller Founder/Owner Garden Girl Skincare wwww.gardengirlskincare.com free of: parabens, sulfates, petroleum products and phthalates
