How was the Shellac Manicure Procedure Different?

as to chipping the french manicure on my real nails did not chip. However it started staining before the first week was out. Why? I sis not put my hands in dirt or any cleaning products. I use a makeup brush to apply my makeup so my hands do not touch the makeup. I was very disappointed with the staining. It is extremely noticeable on the french manicure and makes your nails appear to be dirty. The shellac definitely does not chip, to me it appears to be the only advantage over a regular polish for a french manicure.
Advice
- I am not certain I will use shellac again unless there is a remedy for the staining on real nails with the french manicure. I have been considering Gelish
