How was the Shellac Manicure Procedure Different?
I got a Shellac manicure 12 days ago, and I love it! First of all, no regular polish has ever stayed on my nails for more than 3 days. I have thin nails, and so I was looking for something more durable. The Shellac system has resulted in natural nails that withstand all of the activities of daily living. I am a keyboard player, so I need short nails. For the first time in my life I have nails that I don't feel like hiding under the piano!
What did You Think of the Shellac Polish?
When I got my Shellac manicure, I wasn't sure if it would last very long. The woman sitting next to me said, "It will last MUCH longer." I will probably get my nails done in another week, and this time I will get a lighter color so that the grow out is not as visible.
Advice
- If you are concerned about grow-out, use a lighter color.
- French Manicures would also be excellent with this product.
