Cellulite - Will Any Cream Get Rid of My Cellulite?

By , About.com Guide

Question: Cellulite - Will Any Cream Get Rid of My Cellulite?

Will any of the creams and lotions that say they'll get rid of my cellulite actually get rid of it for good?

Answer:

In a word: no.

If you have cellulite, welcome to the majority of women today. Not only will you fit in with your friends, you'll also fit in with many of the celebrities you see in the fashion magazines. (That is, before they are airbrushed!) Like it or not, cellulite is more common that you may think. But that doesn't make it any easier to love, does it?

Unfortunately no cream or lotion will remove your cellulite, but that doesn't mean they are totally worthless. Cellulite creams and lotions use ingredients like caffeine to plump up and smooth out the cellulite bumps, leaving you temporarily with smoother skin.

But that's the important thing to remember, the results you see are temporary. And when cellulite reduction creams cost as much as they do, it's completely up to you if you decide to purchase them. I've personally noticed results whiles using some of them with a cellulite massager, but the first day I forget to apply, all of the results go down hill.

An example of a cellulite reduction cream is Bliss: Fat Girl Slim. (compare prices) It gets pretty good reviews, but, as with any cellulite reduction cream, there are those who never see results. If you're set on buying a cellulite reduction cream, make sure you check out online reviews and talk to your friends to see if they have a favorite.
