Argan oil is known as one of the rarest oils in the world. It's indigenous to Morocco and comes from the nut of the Argan fruit. It's amazing for your skin and hair because it is lightweight yet highly moisturizing.
Its anti-aging benefits are great due to its high antioxidant levels and fatty essential acids and unlike many anti-aging products that are too hydrating for oily skin, argan oil is also beneficial for excessive oily acne-prone skin. It soothes dry frizzy hair, helps control dry scalp and is even great to use on your flaky nails and dry cuticles.
Argan oil could be the only product you need, head to toe.

Ask a stylist what makes it so great, and he or she will probably tell you it's the argan oil. While it does have argan oil, it's no where near pure argan oil. MoroccanOil is full of silicone, which is known to help smooth frizzy hair and the actual argan oil is sixth on the ingredient list. But this stuff has a cult-like following who claim this product has reduced or eliminated dry, split ends and calmed life-long frizz. The line of hair care products range from oils to creams to shampoo and conditioners.

They work with the women in Morocco who produce the oil to help with sustaining the argan oil agriculture. (Read a little bit more about the history of tree that produces argan oil.)
The line consists of hair, face and body products, but if we had to suggest just one, it would be their pure argan oil.

"Shea Terra Organics’ founder, Tammie Umbel, has been helping native Africans to preserve their wildlife habitats by sharing their indigenous, healing ingredients with the world." As you can tell by their name, their first big product was fair trade Shea Butter. Today, the line consists of skin care, body care, hair care and even chocolate. Their certified organic argan oil can be purchased individually or enjoyed in products ranging from lotions to masks. Read a bit on how the women in Morocco are
producing this argan oil by hand - it's amazing!
