Vaniqa Review: Part Three

By , About.com Guide

Are you curious about Vaniqa, the FDA approved cream that stops unwanted facial hair growth? Check out our Vaniqa Fast Facts and FAQ's page first to see if it's meant for you.

I've been using Vaniqa for 20 weeks now. The full results are seen at 24 weeks. I'm almost there and I'm still hoping for more results in the next month.

To start at the beginning, check out review one at 12 weeks and review two at 16 weeks.

Per Vaniqa's information sheet, success rates were as follows: After 24 weeks of Vaniqa use, 5% were almost hair free, 27% had a marked improvement, 26% had some improvement and 42% had no improvement/worse/missing.

What Am I Seeing?

Is there noticeable chance? Definitely. The fine hair above my upper lip is dramatically thinning and the few buggers on my chin seem to be slowing down in growth.

Am I where I want to be? No. I was hoping for that miracle. I would say that I have 50% less fine hair on my upper lip. Yep! That's pretty miraculous, I know, but I guess I'm being pouty. I wanted 80-90-100% less.

But is 50% less awesome? Absolutely. It's a painless procedure. Simply rubbing on some cream in the morning and at night. I'll keep going for life if I can keep it at this rate as it makes waxing so much less painful, but I'm praying for a sudden stop in growth in the next four weeks. I'll definitely be back to share in my final Vaniqa review.

If you are using Vaniqa, please make sure you share your review with the rest of us.
