Zirh: Warrior Shower Gel

There used to be a time where if you were a man, all you could buy was a boring bar of soap that would dry out your skin. Not anymore. Shower Gels for guys are popping up everywhere! And if you're a guy who doesn't feel right about buying a shower gel, you'll feel different when you see Zirh's new Warrior Shower Gels.

The collection consists of five gels, each named after a famous ancient King or Ruler. A little cheesy, maybe, but if you were passing on shower gels because you thought gels were only for women, these might win you over.

What I love about these gels is that there is no denying the fact that these are gels made for a man. The scents all have a slight masculine scent to them that I love. The scent lingers for a little while, but isn't strong and won't last very long. My favorites are the Caesar and Cyrus scented gels.

Each gel has a story on the back of the bottle that tells you about the ruler it was named after. Not sure what scent would work for you? Take the one question Zirh quiz to see what ruler you most resemble and see what they recommend.

The bottles hold 12 ounces of gel, which is enough to last long over a month because of its concentrated formula. Simply apply a quarter-size amount of gel to a washcloth and lather up. You can also use this product alone, with no washcloth, but using a washcloth will give you the ability to use less product and get more of a lather. Because of natural moisturizing ingredients added, the Warrior Shower Gels won't leave your skin feeling dry and itchy.

Zirh: Cocktail Bar

Zirh's Cocktail Bars are my favorite Zirh body cleansers so far. The Cocktail Bars come in five different drink-inspired scents: Screwdriver, Long Island Ice Tea, Sake Bomb, Hurricane and Cucumber Martini.

The realistically-scented bars are boast a manly 5.3 ounces, which is a big bar of soap in comparison to the normal 3.15 ounce bars. (My husband, who has large hands, actually thinks it's too big.) The soap is similar in appearance to many hand-made glycerin soaps because of the small details. A few of the bars contain added little chunks of soap that you can see inside the bar. It's a nice added touch that you typically only find with soap made in small batches.

Zirh's cocktail bars smell fantastic as well, but the scent doesn't linger long after you step out of the shower. The soaps create a great lather, and with daily use last about a month or so. My favorite scent is the Long Island Ice Tea Soap.

One difference that the Cocktail soaps have compared to the Warrior Gels, is that they won't only be yours alone if you share your shower with a woman. These soaps are appealing to both sexes, and because of the fantastic scents and small details in them, your mate is sure to want a bar of her own.

The cocktail bars retail for $15 each and available at Zirh.com. (buy direct)
