If you have yet to sample Pacifica Candles, let me fill you in on this delicious vegan company and their bath and body products. Sold in select stores such as Whole Foods, Nordstroms, Anthropologie and Borders, Pacifica products smell amazing, and are at a bargain of a price in comparison of other boutique products.
My favorite, if I had to pick only one, is the Malibu Lemon Blossom line. According to co-founder Brook Harvey-Taylor, who lives in Malibu and surfs daily, this scent "captures coming up out of the saltiness of Pacific Ocean waters into the morning sun and clean California air."
1. Perfume - Solid or Aerosol

I'm loving the solid perfumes from Pacifica. Solid perfumes are the best when it comes to portability and ease. How many of us have skipped packing perfume when we travel because we don't want to chance it breaking open in our bag? Pacifica introduced their solid perfumes in Feb 2008 with great success.
Both the solid and aerosol perfumes are paraben and phthalate free. The outer packaging for all of Pacifica products is made with post-consumer content, and the Perfume tins are completely recyclable. Solid perfumes are made from a 100% organic soy and coconut wax base.
Simply apply to your pulse-points as you would your regular perfume.
2. Body Butter

If there is one thing that I feel I could never have enough of, it would be body butter. And when many range in price from $30 on up, how refreshing is it to see these 8 ounce vegan butters coming under $16! While Malibu Lemon Blossom is a favorite of mine, you have loads to choose from in five earthy categories.
Pacifica Body Butters are paraben-free and include ingredients such as shea and mango butters, chamomile extract, safflower, almond and essential oils which will leave your skin soft and hydrated. These products, as well as all of Pacifica products, are not tested on animals.
3. Natural Soap

When I first opened my soaps from Pacifica, I first noticed how lovely they were, and then realized just how large they were. Coming in at 6 ounces, these vegan soaps are hand made using a vegetable glycerin based. Each bar is sprinkled with contrasting herbs, leaving a beautiful scattered appearance on the top. Once wet, these soaps lather up right away and the scent instantly fills the air.
As large as these soaps are, if you so choose, you can easily cut them in half, or even thirds, to prolong the life of them. A set of these would also make a lovely gift.
