This is a hand and body lotion by eos - evolution of smooth. There are three different body lotions for normal to dry skin in this category of products by evolution of smooth, and we had a chance to check out Active Care Hand and Body Lotion. All of the lotions are paraben, phthalate, dye and lanolin free. The lotion is a white in color, creamy in consistency and comes in a sleek 12 oz. pump.

Things We Love:
- Scent: We like that this lotion has a nice, light scent that isn't overpowering or long-lasting.
- Ingredients: The lotion is 97% natural and we like seeing many ingredients that are easy to recognize on the ingredient label. (Ingredients listed below)
- Sensitive Skin Friendly: It didn't irritate my sensitive skin at all.
- Price: $8 for an almost all-natural product is good!
Something's We Weren't Crazy About
- SPF Would Be Nice: With more and more lotions with SPF popping up, it would have been a nice additive for this product as well.
- Slight Sticky Feeling: Upon first application, the lotion seems slightly sticky. The sticky feeling does go away after a few minutes but it would be better if it didn't give that sensation.
- Not Long Lasting Hydration: I didn't feel my skin was deeply moisturized or that it gave me a long-lasting dose of moisture. If you have severe dry skin, I am not sure this would work that well for you. After an application, skin feels slightly hydrated but it doesn't seem to last.
eos: Hand and Body Lotion - Final Thoughts
It's a tough call! On one hand, this is a nice, reasonably priced basic lotion that you might want to keep around the house. We really did like the cucumber melon scent of the Active Care lotion. It's easy to find, isn't necessarily a splurge product and the packaging and product line is fun.
However, on the other hand, it seems to be missing a "wow factor" about it since it doesn't moisturize deeply, doesn't contain SPF and doesn't seem to have any unique claims. The bottom line is for $7.99, it's a good product to try, especially if you like to mix up your lotions a bit, but it is definitely not a must-have product.
