Have you heard of Skineez Skincarewear yet? (Buy Direct) It's a new line of clothing that is aimed at reducing the appearance of cellulite. I was contacted by Skineez Skincarewear to see if I might test out their new product, which is available through Macys. While I am aware that there are great cellulite reduction creams out there that if used on a consistent basis will help reduce the appearance of cellulite, I must admit that I was a bit uncertain about the idea that the cellulite reduction "potion" that is in the Skineez Skincarewear garment would have the same effect as something you rub into your skin. But I gladly took on the test, and I'll be wearing Skineez Skincareware 6-8 hrs each night for the next 4-6 weeks. I will give updates as I go.
Testing Updates
First thoughts: The Skineez Skincarewear garment that I got is the thigh slimmer. (Just what I need!) It comes in a box with a spray bottle of additional cellulite appearance reduction treatment spray that you will need once you've washed your garment a few times. (The website says up to 10 washes.)
When I first put on my Skineez, I immediately noticed a pleasant scent and a super soft feeling. One problem that I have with slimming garments that go over my belly is the fact that once I lean over, the slimmer flips over too. I do not have that experience with Skineez. Skineez is super soft and comfortable, and I can easily forget that I'm wearing it.
First update
I have been wearing the Skineez Skincarewear garment to bed each night. I'll admit, in the beginning it was hard to remember to put it on each night, but now it's part of my routine. It really is the most comfortable slimming garment that I have personally tried, and I don't even realize it's there. It's soft, fitting and never doubles over in the belly areal.
I wish there was a way to really be able to tell if you need to reapply the Skineez Slimming Spray. They say that you can wear it up to 10 washings, but it's hard to just trust that advice. I've washed it 3 times now, and while I can still smell a little of the citrus spray, I think that I will apply the spray the next time I wear it.
As for it's cellulite appearance reduction and moisturizing benefits, I have mixed thoughts. Do I feel slimmer? Yes, surprisingly I really do think that I see a difference in my thighs and backside. But do I feel like I'm getting moisturizing benefits? Not really. But that could be perhaps because I moisturize on a very regular basis. Perhaps if I didn't apply lotion daily I would notice more moisture. More updates to come with my results after wearing Skineez Skincarewear for the recommended length of time.
Applying Skineez Spray
When the time came to reapply Skineez Spray to my Skineez Skincarewear Garment, I did as suggested in the instructions and washed my garment, turned it inside out and applied a layer of spray. I left it to air dry and will continue wearing it tonight.
Just in case this happens to you, I wanted to share the lesson the good people at Skineez shared with me regarding the Skineez refill bottle. If you find that you are unable to get any spray to come out, you might have to adjust it. It is a new "Eco-friendly" aerosol bottle, and if the nozzle comes off, you have to put it back on and shake it really hard for a few seconds to re-pressurize it. That should get everything back on track.
Results Are Pouring In
I mentioned that I do feel as though my thighs look better since using Skineez Skincarewear; apparently I'm not the only one. I was just given the results of a 6 week study done on 20 women wearing Skineez Skincarewear 8 hours a day. The average woman lost 1 inch in her waist and 0.4 inches in each thigh.
