Guide Review - Orly Beauty: French Polynesian Island Balm Ultimate Strength Foot Cream
The third step that I'm reviewing in Orly Beauty's pedicure line is French Polynesian Island Balm Ultimate Strength Foot Cream. (See my reviews of Refreshing Citrus Foot Soak and Pearl Silk Sugarcane Foot & Leg Scrub.)
After soaking and exfoliating, my feet were in desperate need of hydration, and Island Balm Ultimate Strength Foot Cream certainly did the job. Be aware that this foot cream is so thick that it's quite hard to squeeze it out of the tube. After I applied it to my feet, I noticed almost a protective layer that stayed near the surface, yet I felt the hydration deep within the skin's surface. Because of the thickness, I thought that it was going to take a long time to soak in, but it felt almost like it melted into my skin and almost instantly disappeared.
The lotion is infused with hibiscus flower for hydration and refreshing lime. This creates a pleasant sweet scent that is enjoyable immediately. After a short time however, the sweet scent fades.
My feet felt extremely soft after applying Ultimate Strength Foot Cream, and the lotion left a cooling sensation that lasted long after the product was applied. This would be perfect to use on a day that your feet felt hot, tired and swollen.
This was my favorite product in the three-step lineup that I used. I loved how soft this made my feet, and I look forward to enjoying it in the future. As stated in my previous Orly Beauty reviews, it would be nice to see the parabens kicked out of the ingredient list.
