Guide Review - The Body Shop: Vitamin E Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes

The Body Shop's Vitamin E Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes is a part of their large Vitamin E skin care line. The Vitamin E line is made for normal to dry skin, and usually receives good reviews in whole. Vitamin E is a natural anti-oxidant, which protects your skin against free radical damage, which makes it a good ingredient for those looking for anti-aging benefits.

The Body Shop's Vitamin E Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes come in a pink plastic bag full of 25 wipes. The size of a wipe is a good size of 8.5 by 7.5 inches. The wipes are pre-moistened, which means you do not have to get them wet before cleaning.

One thing that I noticed right away was the lack of any texture on the wipes. While the wipe was moist, having no texture made me feel as if I was just wiping the makeup around on my skin and not fully removing it. It was also a bit difficult to remove only one wipe from the package. The hole to remove the wipes is only 0.5in by 1.5in, and because they are moist, they stuck together.

The sticky label, which is there to keep the opening sealed, also started coming up on the edges before long, and before my pack was used, my wipes were getting pretty dried out. If you were to buy these, you'd be best to keep these in a plastic container or old baby wipe container in case your seal comes loose.

If you use these twice a day, you'd need more than 2 packs a month, bring your cost to over $30. If you like The Body Shop and would like to take advantage of the anti-oxidant benefits the Vitamin E line has to offer, buying the Vitamin E Cream Cleanser would be a better financial purchase. If you like the ease of cleansing wipes, these are fine, but there are many other less expensive options on the market.
