Acne treatments are hard to review because what works for one person's skin might not work for another. When reading reviews online, sometimes you read negative reviews from someone who tried something once. Then again, you might read positive reviews from someone who tried something once. Who can you believe?

We'll hit on each SensiClear product, including their positive and negative features. Then you can make your own judgement call and go from there.

Our reviewer used the complete SensiClear program for 30 days and gave us her thoughts. She is a 29 year old female with very sensitive, oily, acne prone skin.

SensiClear Purifying Cleanser - SensiClear Balancing Toner

SensiClear Purifying Cleanser - 4 fl oz

SensiClear's Purifying Cleanser is a clear cleanser that has a gel-like texture. The cleanser does suds up easily when you add water and apply it to your face. Our reviewer noted that it doesn't tingle, heat up or cause any reaction.

It cleanses well, rinses off easily and doesn't leave your skin feeling tight or dry. She noted that the scent is quite unpleasant, smelling a bit medicinal.

SensiClear Balancing Toner - 4 fl oz

SensiClear's Balancing Toner was our reviewers least favorite product in the set. The texture of the toner is like a watery gel, thicker than most toners.

She noticed that the toner did leave her skin feeling a bit tingly, describing it as a slight burning feeling. She decided after a few days that she could only use it once a day instead of after every cleaning.

She did notice that it did a great job of reducing the amount of oil on her face after using. She said that after using the product for a week, she had to cut down to using it once every other day just because she felt it was a little too hard on her skin.

Our reviewer has notably admitted to having quite sensitive skin. You may not experience the same reaction with the toner.

SensiClear Acne Treatment - SensiClear Acne Spot Lotion

SensiClear Acne Treatment - 2 fl oz

SensiClear's Acne Treatment is a thick moisturizing lotion that is a yellow-green color. Again, the scent of this is quite medicinal, and something that our reviewer specifically noted.

She loved how the moisturizer soaked right into her skin. She uses this product twice a day and has noticed no burning or tingling on her skin like she did with the toner.

She absolutely has noticed this product helping with her acne, but she still deals with mid-day shine, typical with her oily skin type.

The moisturizer uses .5% salycilic acid to combat acne.

SensiClear Acne Spot Lotion

SensiClear's Acne Spot Lotion is a concentrated cream that is intended specifically for the acne you currently have. Simply dot on your blemishes.

Our reviewer applied it right onto her blemishes and noticed that it helped reduce swelling in acne, reduced redness, and most definitely helped with menstrual related acne, something that typically is a big cause of concern.

Our Thoughts

SensiClear treats acne using its main ingredient: salicylic acid. This is a widely available acne-fighting ingredient on the market, and if you do your homework, you may find something that costs less and is easily available.

SensiClear is available as a membership, which means that when you order the kit, you're allowing them to charge you and send out another kit in 2 months or so. This can be both helpful and frustrating.

It can be helpful when you love the product, it works for you and you want to keep using it. But what happens when you find out that one of the products isn't right for your skin. For example, the toner and our reviewer. She plans on using the toner ever other day or even less. If she joins the club, she'll get a new toner regardless on when she needs one.

Also, the website states that you can have clear skin in 72 hours. We'd really like to make sure you don't think your acne will disappear in only 72 hours.

Our Reviewer's Thoughts

Our reviewer stated that not only did she notice a big reduction in acne, she was planning on using SensiClear from here on out. Her acne changed dramatically from day 1 to day 30.

During her monthly cycle, she constantly gets cystic acne, and she has never been able to reduce them. While using SensiClear, her cystic acne wasn't an issue. She was more than pleased.

Final Thoughts

After hearing such positive thoughts on SensiClear from our reviewer, I told her that SensiClear comes from a membership club. This initially changed her thoughts because of prior dealings with cosmetic membership clubs. Membership clubs can easily turn a good product line into a hassle or one that people are afraid to try because they don't want to get a charge on their credit card.

But luckily there are other places to purchase SensiClear that don't include a membership club. The kit is available at Snyder’s Drugstores and will soon be available at NYC Duane Reade stores.

While searching for other reviews on SensiClear it's apparent that it works for many people, although it was noted quite regularly that after the initial honeymoon stage, many had a return of some acne.

If you're looking for an acne treatment to help combat skin issues you have and you don't mind joining a club, give SensiClear a try, and come back and let us know how it worked for you. You can even sign up for SensiClears free trial offer. (visit site)
