I was a little apprehensive to try this cream at first because I saw on the bottle there was a warning of: "A slight tingle is normal when first applied." Those of us with sensitive skin know that the "tingle" might be slightly more painful than the warning describes.
However, I was pleasantly surprised and I experienced no tingle or any negative sensation when using this product.
The cream comes in an airless chamber bottle which means there is no dip tube included. This sometimes effects how the cream is dispensed. If the cream does not come out of the bottle, there is an instruction on the side that explains how you need to tap the bottom of the bottle on a hard surface and continue pumping. For the most part, this was not an issue for me. It only happened a few times and tapping the bottle was the cure. But, if you are not use to an airless chamber bottle, it can be alarming at first when the product won't come out.
This youth preserver is described as a "PM-Repair" product, but I did occasionally also use it in the mornings. The product also worked very well under my make-up (no greasy feeling). However, it doesn't contain any SPF.
The cream is white with a nice vanilla scent. It is non-greasy and very lightweight. My sensitive skin was able to drink in the cream immediately and I did not experience any breakouts or irritations.
It contains DMAE, Matrixxyl and ALA which are all included to help with aging and fine lines.
The product kept my skin hydrated immediately, but I did not see the anti-aging effects of the cream until I had used it for about 2 weeks. It softened the fine lines around my mouth, on my forehead and near my eyes.
If you have sensitive skin and are looking for a moisturizer that has the added benefits of anti-aging effects, I highly recommend this natural product.
