Guide Review - Simple: Kind To Skin Vital Vitamin Night Cream
Simple Skin Care is a hot product line in the UK, and just recently became available in the US. Kind to Skin Vital Vitamin Night Cream is made specifically for those with sensitive skin. On the jar it even reads: "From the experts in sensitive skin." I love seeing those kinds of descriptions on a skincare product.
The cream is a white, non-greasy mixture with no smell (it has no perfumes or dyes). It contains Pro-vitamin B5 and Vitamins E. After using this night cream for a few nights, I was happy that it wasn't irritating my skin or causing any breakouts. I also noticed that it was not oily. I really thought my skin was drinking in this product.
But, after several uses, I noticed that the skin right between my eyebrows was starting to flake. This is always a tell-tale sign to me that a moisturizer is not working well on my face. Please note that I have dry skin, so perhaps you'll be pleased with the hydrating results if you have combination or oily skin.
Although this night cream doesn't claim to have any anti-aging benefits, I do like to see that description in the night skincare products that I use. It's an easy way to get skin-healthy anti-aging benefits while applying your needed night cream. Perhaps there isn't anti-aging ingredients because they don't fit in with the "simple" formulation, but just something I wanted to note.
I really wanted to love this product since I appreciate how it is catered to those of us with sensitive skin. I like how there are no perfumes or dyes and it basically just doesn't seem to irritate. But, I can't recommend it as a "must-have" for those who have dry skin, or those looking to fight the aging clock.
I do recommend this product if you are at a complete loss of finding a night moisturizer that will not irritate your skin and you don't want to spend a lot of money. I am confident the cream will not irritate your sensitive skin. While it's not hydrating enough for me, it's not heavy or irritating.
Simple skin care products will soon be available on their US website, but until then, the Kind to Skin day and night moisturizers are available at NYC Duane Reade drugstores for $9.99.
