REVALESKIN: Day Cream with SPF 15 is the second product in the original line of REVALESKIN products. Coffeeberry extract is the ingredient to be aware of in this entire line. Coffeeberry comes from the fruit of the coffee plant, which has one of the highest levels of antioxidants in it.
The REVALESKIN line is available exclusively through dermatologists without a prescription. And as is everything, you can find it online as well, however REVALESKIN prefers you contact your dermatologist for a referral. (Find of of their recommended doctors)
The Day Cream itself is a very thick moisturizer that is pea-green in color. 1 to 2 pumps is all you need for your entire face and neck. As thick as this cream is, we were certain it would leave a greasy feeling behind, but that was absolutely not the case. We noticed right away that the moisturizer was absorbed into our skin immediately leaving our skin feeling soft and hydrated.
What we love about the Day Cream is the fact that it's gentle and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive. I typically deal with redness of the face, and after about three weeks of continued use, the redness in my skin started diminishing leaving my texture and coloring more even. The combination of the cleanser and day cream also left my pores looking tighter and smaller.
The day cream contains SPF 15, and while we're happy that it contains SPF, we wish it would up the level a bit higher. But because of the mass amount of antioxidant coverage, we know that our face contains a shield against free radicals. If you're using any moisturizer that contains SPF, don't forget to add additional coverage later in the day.
Yes, REVALESKIN Day Cream is definitely a splurge, but if you're looking for an anti-aging line that contains proven ingredients, you'll want to try one of the products in the REVALESKIN line.
