Guide Review - L'uvalla: Balancing Day/Night Cream
L'uvalla's Balancing Day/Night Cream is a nice, quality moisturizer that I immediately enjoyed using. After using it for just one day, I could tell that it was going to work well keeping my face hydrated and healthy for an extended period of time.
It is a lightweight, white cream that works great under make-up. I also like how it didn't cause any irritations to my sensitive skin. Unlike some other moisturizers I have used, this cream did not make my face feel greasy or too oily.
The moisturizer smells lovely, like lavender with a hint of cinnamon. Some of its ingredients include lavender oil, lemon peel oil, and lotus flower extract.
This product retails currently for $51.50 for a 1.46 ounce tube, which is, in my opinion, expensive for a moisturizer. And being a day and night cream, it doesn't contain SPF, something I look for in a day cream.
I also noticed that it doesn't seem to be a moisturizer I can rely on to help with wrinkles and fine lines. The tube itself it did not say anything about helping to erase wrinkles, but on L'uvalla's web site it says: "The powerful anti-aging properties of Argan Oil, which has twice the vitamin E of olive oil, reduces fine lines and wrinkles while boosting your skin’s natural collagen production." The cream may have those ingredients, but after using the product twice a day for 2 weeks, I did not feel as though it helped with anti-aging.That said, this is a pretty good find if you are looking for a lasting moisturizer for your sensitive skin and you love organic, natural products. And I love that you can read all about the ingredients, what they are and what they do on L'uvalla's website.
If you have had problems finding a cream that doesn't cause irritations while keeping your skin hydrated all day long, you may want to check it out.
