Guide Review - Lush: Celestial Moisturizer
Lush describes Celestial Moisturizer as one of their most wanted products. After using it for a few days, I can testify that it does actually work very well.
I have been using Celestial in the mornings after I wash my face and it keeps my skin hydrated until the end of the day. I can wear it under my makeup without making my face feel weighted-down with product, which is a big plus. I've also noticed that my face looks generally healthier on the days when I use it.
My skin is sensitive and tends to easily break out from some moisturizers, but I did not have that problem with this product.
Celestial is white in color, and has a light-weight consistency. It has a thin, smooth texture to it and seems to absorb into skin very quickly. I thought it had a nice natural scent of almonds mixed with vanilla.
Some of Celestial's ingredients include almond milk, dove orchids, vanilla and almond oil.
I only wish that it also contained sun protection, or SPF, because I think it's healthy for any facial moisturizer to contain that ingredient.
While higher in price than some of the drugstore lines, this is all-natural and contains a full 1.5 ounces which is more than you'd typically get. If you have sensitive facial skin and are looking for a new moisturizer, you will probably be very pleased with Lush's Celestial. It really does do all that it promises it will do.
