The Bottom Line

Coffeeberry is a great antioxidant that will help slowly reverse the signs of aging and ward off future signs. While we're more than thrilled with the other products in the Revalskin line, we feel it wise to splurge on a topical product that contains more Coffeeberry than the cleanser.

Guide Review - Revaleskin: Facial Cleanser

Coffeeberry is the new buzz-word in anti-aging skin care. It's one of thee most potent antioxidants you can find, and antioxidants are what your skin needs to fight off the signs of aging we all wish to avoid.

REVALSKIN: Facial Cleanser is the first step in their collection. The product is a large 6 ounces that will last a very long time. The product comes with a tiny pump to disburse the product into your hand. Immediately I found it a bit frustrating figuring out how many pumps to use for a thorough cleanse. This is because the cleanser is not a foaming cleanser at all. The consistency is like a very watery cleansing milk. While the directions tell you to work the product into a lather and apply to your face, there is just no lather period.

While it is certainly not necessary to have a sudsy lather, and we do like cleansing creams, we felt it was difficult to know that we were getting a thorough clean. In fact, we probably used more product than really necessary, just in case.

That said, I absolutely noticed reduced redness in my skin after using this exclusively as my cleanser for 6+ weeks. I'm not sure if it was the cleanser or the day cream that gave my skin more benefits.

I did love the large amount of product that you get. 6 ounces of product that is thin like milk is going to last months. Using it for 6 weeks, I hardly made a dent in it.

I love the idea of using Coffeeberry in my skin care regimen, but I feel it best to get that from the moisturizer, which contains 1% Coffeeberry extract instead of 0.1% like this cleanser.

REVALESKIN is sold exclusively through dermatologists. (And you can of course find it online.) But Revaleskin recommends going to your doctor for a referral so that you are able to get a full evaluation of your skin and it's needs. See their list of doctors here.
