Guide Review - Pangea Organics: Facial Mask
Pangea Organics Facial Mask is a mask that claims to "deep cleanse, detoxify, exfoliate, tone, hydrate, stimulate collegen, regenerate skin cells, prevent wrinkles, nourish, protect and balance". That's a big claim, right?
When I first applied the mask to my skin, I immediately could the small specks of seaweed in the swampy-brown colored product. While the mask is a thick consistency, spreading it around is a piece of cake, and getting it into the small crevices, such as those around my nose, wasn't a problem at all. It has a very earthy scent to it.
The instructions say to apply to clean, damp skin and to leave on for 10-20 minutes. I would guess the mask took about 10 minutes to dry, but I leave it on for a full 20 minutes.
To remove the mask, they suggest using wet fingers to massage the mask off your skin. I'll be honest; it's not an easy quick task to get the mask off. You really have to work at it, and I suggest you apply the mask 15 minutes or so before you hop in the shower so you can use the hot steamy air to help slough off the mask.When you're massaging, you are getting a nice exfoliation of the skin.
Each time I rinse off this mask, I am amazed at how fresh my skin looks and feels. The pores are smaller, my skin is softer and I definitely glow. I feel the results are similar to going to get a professional facial.
They suggest you use this product once a week, and I suggest you do so at a time where you have extra time on your hands to get the full benefits.
Pangea Organics is one of my favorite skin care lines. The first time I used their Facial Mask, I was blown away. I wrote my review before I checked to see what other online reviewers thought. I'm happy to say that along with my 5-star review, this product has only 5 star reviews at Sephora.com and 30 out of 37 Makeupalley.com reviewers gave it 5 stars. It's that good.
