Guide Review - H2O Plus: Pumice Foot Scrub
I can't tell you how much I love foot scrubs and pedicures. Being a busy mom, I'm on my feet all day long. When I can take time at the end of the day and pamper my hard working feet, it's like a treat just for me. When I received H2O Plus: Pumice Foot Scrub in the mail, my feet seemed to ache all day. They longed for a soak and a scrub until I couldn't hold them off any longer. I sent my husband and kids away and proceeded to give myself a foot spa at home.
I wasn't sure what I thought about the smell of the foot scrub. It has a bit of a medicinal scent to it that I didn't really enjoy, but didn't really dislike either. The scent I'm sure has to do with its natural ingredients, such as menthol, sea lettuce and sea fennel. All thoughts of the scent flew out the window when I applied it to my feet.
This grey colored, gel based pumice scrub seems to have hundreds of little bits in the tiny amount of product I had on my feet. They were tiny bits that almost felt like a mini-microdermabrasion on my feet. There was no uncomfortable feeling while exfoliating, and even though I didn't use a foot file, my feet truly are softer than I can remember.
While I usually do use a foot file when I give myself a foot spa, I didn't remember to grab one before I sat down to soak. This scrub, used simply with my hands, provided as well, if not better than my current scrub used along with a file. While I used it in conjunction with a soaking spa, you can keep it right in your shower for quick use 1-2 times a week.
I'm not alone with my love of H2O Plus: Pumice Foot Scrub. On makeupalley.com, this got a rating of 4.7 out of 5, and 95% of users would buy again.
If you want super soft feet right from home, you will absolutely love this scrub. Follow with a thick lotion to hydrate your feet.
