Exfoliate with Diamonds (No, Really)

Follow me on:

Leave it to La Mer to come up with another luxury skin care product. They're well known for their signature product, "Creme de la Mer" which costs $130 per ounce. (Or, if you really want to go all out, get their 16.5 oz tub for $1,390.)

Their new exfoliator, "The Body Refiner" is nothing short of luxury. It actually contains more than 1 1/2 carats of pure diamond powder and polished sea quartz to buff away your dull skin cells. It also includes sea mud to detoxify and purify your skin.

You might think that an exfoliator that contains diamonds might cost you an entire paycheck, but you'd be wrong. It does cost more than your average exfoliator, but not nearly as much as their moisturizer. The Body Refiner, which contains 6.7 ounces of product, will only set you back $110. (buy direct)

It's not for everyone, but it might be the perfect gift for someone you love. Plus, if you give it away, you won't have to watch the 1 1/2 carats go down the drain.

There is even a product out there that has gold in it. It is not very expensive but apparently works very well. I wish I could remember the name of it.
