John Masters Organics: Shine On - It's Amazing!

Friday January 2, 2009

I am a huge fan of John Masters Organics. They are literally one of my favorite product lines. Maybe it's because of the story behind the company, maybe it's because I'm a stylist myself and can relate to John's dislike of salon chemicals, or maybe it's because every product I've tried has been fantastic.

The latest John Masters Organics product I am playing with is their new Shine On, a leave-in treatment that gives your hair amazing shine. We all want shiny hair, but how many of us have tried the petroleum-based shine treatments and come away greasy looking flat hair. I had all but given up on every shine treatment product. Shine On is completely different.

Shine On uses sea kelp to create this amazing shine that I can't believe. And if the fantastic shine wasn't enough, my hair is so soft after using this. And those of you with fine hair can celebrate too, because it won't weigh down your hair. I'm totally hooked on this product!

If you're lucky enough to live in NYC, you can find Shine On in their salon in Sullivan Street. For the rest of us, you can purchase Shine On for $30 at John Masters Organics website. (And yes, it's worth every cent of that $30!)

Spending $30 on any hair product is usually a splurge for me, but I’m a little excited about this one! I wear my hair big and long, which can lead to lots of little fly-aways at the top, giving me that lovely halo on the top of my head.

I’m always dousing it with those aforementioned greasy spritz products, but they always seem to weight my hair down and make me want to jump in the shower. I’ll give this one a try.
