Has the Economy Affected Your Beauty Product Shopping Habits?

Wednesday December 31, 2008

A friend told me that she read a bit of info that said that even though most Americans are watching what they purchase, many aren't being as careful when it comes to purchasing beauty and skin care items. It said that people used to get a high out of buying a nice handbag or clothes, but now they are choosing to get that high with a pampering body butter or new lipstick. They get those same good feelings with only shelling out $20, and they get to keep the extra cash in their account.

So I'm wondering about you; has the economy changed your spending habits when it comes to product? Do you still spend what you always have? Have you started using more drugstore brands verses shopping at Sephora? Take the poll and comment below!
