Dawn: Hand Renewal

Friday November 21, 2008

Dawn, the dish detergent company, has come out with a new dish detergent called Hand Renewal. (visit their site) It of course does a great job at cleaning your dishes, but it also is mild on your hands, leaving them less parched than other dish detergents. Let's face it, when you are cleaning out a greasy pot, your hands aren't the first thing on your mind. And how many of us really use rubber gloves consistently, even though we know it's better for our hands?

I had a chance to check out Dove's Pomegranate and Splash detergent, and the scent is fabulous and fresh. Did I feel that it left my hands in better condition after five uses? Well, I'm a bit of a non-typical user. I try really hard to take care of my hands, and have more hand creams than I'd ever admit. My hands still felt dry after I used it, but the point is that it will make your hands less dry with the addition of Vitamin E to add a bit of moisture back into your hands.

To promote their new line, Dawn is having this rather odd hand talent contest. Yes, you read that right, a hand talent contest. Check out Dawn's Hand Talent Contest, which ends on Monday and vote for the hands that you think deserve the prize. (I have no idea what the prize could be for the most talented hands.) You can even get a $1.00 coupon for your first purchase. This product is getting great reviews, so next time your dish detergent runs out, pick up Dawn's Hand Renewal. You might as well buy one that can help keep this hands soft, especially with the cold winter coming (quickly) upon us.
