Multi-step in the Shower With Your Exfoliator

Thursday November 20, 2008

We're all in a hurry in the morning. Most days you don't have time to do the extra skin care steps that you'd like to. I've got a great tip for you that saves you money, uses excess product and really makes a difference.

When you're using your facial microdermabrasion or facial exfoliator, you gather a bit, whether it's pumping or scooping, apply it to your face and rinse off, right? Exfoliating your face is an easy step to create a healthy glow, but did you know that exfoliating your hands is one of the best ways to make them look younger?

Next time you exfoliate your face, take a second to take the remaining product that is still in your hands and give your hands a quick microdermabrasion. Sure, you could buy a hand exfoliator, but why should you when you likely already have one in your hands a couple times a week!

Important step to remember: When exfoliating your hands (and face, of course) it's very important to moisturize right after you dry off your hands. Don't skip this step or you may wind up with the dry cracked skin we all try to avoid.
