I try my best to drink a lot of water, having been told that it’s good for everything from skin to hair.
While I can’t be sure, I figure it can’t hurt either, and it’s better than lots of soda…and cheaper at restaurants! ^-^
I’ve been told it’s better to drink your water after you eat your meal and not with your food. I wonder if that’s true. I take little drinks to make sure I get my food down and then bigger swallows after. It’s a better way to digest your food. What do you think?
I have heard you should not drink anything during a meal as it will dilute your digestive juices, and make it harder to digest your food – makes sense to me. I do however agree we need at least 8 (8oz.) glasses per day throughout the day
Our skin is a thermostat – whether we are lying on the beach in Rio or playing ice hockey in Anchorage, our body temperature remains constant. Our skin cools our body when it is too hot and helps to warm it when it is too cold. For these reasons and more we should drink at least 4 pints of plain water every day. Hydrating our skin keeps our thermostat working smoothly but it also helps us maintain a youthful glow. Read Reader’s Digest Guide to Skin Care for more about your skin, its health and well being.
